GREAT BEACH WEDDING GOWN or RECEPTION DRESS --- This lovely Monique Lhuillier "Demi" gown was perfect for my destination wedding in Turks and Caicos Islands in December 2012. The fitted, asymmetrical draped sheath has a sweetheart neckline, floor-length sweep train, and unique side slit. An asymmetrical bustle was added to complement the style of the gown (for after the ceremony). The gown was professionally cleaned and pressed in January 2013 and was packaged in a cotton muslin cover. There is a slight discoloration on the bottom 2 inches of hem. Can be completely removed if you are 5' 10" or shorter (with heels on). I am 5' 8" and wore 4 inch heels. A bustier with "C" bra cups was added to the gown to provide support and smooth lines along the bustline, but can easily be removed by seamstress if necessary. Monique Lhuillier designed the gown to be worn with a crystal wheat stalk accent on the left hip (accent was not purchased). I wore a leaf rhinestone brooch instead (not included in selling price). My seamstress added a loop of boning in the hip area so the gown would not be harmed by the brooch pin. The loop can be used again for the buyer's brooch or simply cut off and worn without one.
