This is such a beautiful dress. Elegant but simple, classic but modern. I got so many compliments on it. It’s ivory, strapless and made of the finest quality, Italian, 100% silk duchess satin with silk organza overlay across the bust. There is gentle ruching on the bodice, and overall it is a very flattering silhouette. One of the things that made me fall in love with this dress was the gorgeous sash that drapes down the back. It’s a simple but really lovely detail. I bought the dress as a sample from Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier in New York City. It retailed for $5050. It was fitted by Esin at Sew Elegant (NYC) who used to work for Vera Wang. She also added one button if you want to bustle the dress, but it could easily be removed. After my wedding I then had it professionally hand-cleaned by Meurice Garment Care in NYC. It is in excellent condition. I had an amazing evening in this dress, and I’d love for someone else to wear it on her special day.
